Berthas Cottage was purchased by us in 2004 in a derelict condition. Since then we have had much pleasure in bringing the Cottage back to life.

The gardens surrounding the cottage have been a work in progress, from the overgrown agapanthus, cacti and fishbone ferns which had taken over, to the thriving pretty cottage garden it has become today.

Bertha lived in this cottage from about 1924. Bertha died in 1979 and the house had not been lived in until our purchase of it, hence us naming the cottage in her name.

We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy Berthas Cottage as much as we do.
